I don't blame you, it looks good on white cars. same with smoking the rear lights. There is vinyl wrap to accomplish this and it's not expensive or permanent.

Another 512TR on BAT... nice one, euro about to need a service but as shown in other threads maybe can do many more years and miles without... 160k. If I hadn’t just bought a ff I’d consider it, but now got wait till year end/early next year says my wife

Regarding needing a major. I think I met one of the longest owners out there with never having a major done. This car is a 1994 512tr with around 20k miles. The guy drives the car regularly short distances to and from work. He is the original owner. He owns a Porsche repair shop next to the shop I bring my car to. They mainly work on air cooled Porsches. I am not a fan of this way of taking care of a car. I agree it’s better to do your regular maintenance within reason. If I take care of my car it will take care of me! Just wanted to share this as FYI only. Crazy right?

I almost bought it for 150k, seller wanted 160k last year. It was for sale at autosportdesign as a consigned deal and also on fchat.

Tom P on BAt vouched for the car saying no skin in the game but I believe he has bc th owner bought or was trying to buy from him and he tried to sell the car for a year on consignment for 175k...
125k won’t do it I’m afraid.
I think it is worth 150k!

Ya know...I was thinking the same thing. It's not a cut and dry stock purchase. With a classic Ferrari, there's so many factors based on condition, maintenance and records. If all the ducks line up, then move on it.
It's be tougher to find a good Ferrari than finding a reasonable price.

-major needed
-euro car
-and I was already reaching at 150k plus those Cali taxes what I though it was worth. We shall see what it reaches today

Limited audience. Mid afternoon closing time for auction lessens participation. No recent service. Euro. BAT users slagging off the car and seller also don’t help. Lots of guys out there claiming to be buyers that know it all yet own nothing... like on most forums.
