I carry fuses, a quart of oil, a funnel, a screwdriver, and I may have half a bottle of coolant in there. Belts and tools to change belts? Hell no. I also don't carry a spare or jack.

Its a good question. I don't carry a lot of spares. I do carry belts. My fuel pump is still original so I carry an old (working) used one a friend gave me. Otherwise, I carry stuff like waterproof duct tape which isn't really a spare part but can repair some types of hose leaks. … I just upgraded my AAA towing insurance to 200 mile radius as I am headed out on a 500 mile trip into the mountains this weekend (Virginia City Hill Climb). I used a piece of house wire and a twist tie that I found on the side of the road.
