What a shame Ferrari didn't go ahead with this. The 355F1 Competizione would have crapped all over the F355CH..... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pete paid $28 for his in 83/84. They weren’t $250 in 88. Too much grog John. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Yep. Cants had a chairs and flares one for $38K in early 87. So I paid $48K for a GT4 - maybe PP and I should try for MENSA
But to put it in perspective, in 1986 we paid $26k for a block of land in Red Hill! The day before settlement we saw a 308 in the 'exotic' dealers window for exactly the same amount and were sorely tempted...
Yes, I remember it so clearly because we really did try to figure out if we could get out of the land contract and buy the 308!
All I can say is that the 246 on a rotating table at the Sydney motorshow had a price tag of $250,000 sitting on the passenger seat that was open ...... and this was around the time the world was going stupid for art and exotic cars just before the stock market crash
Hope the crash isn't coming again.....Just got back from Beijing and I've never seen so many Air China Aircraft in long term parking around the airport....Hongkong is like a ghost town especially the airport ( for different reasons). Central was really quiet as well. Its a worry.....
Around '90/'91 I saw a Dino at the then local dealer for $79k. I remember it was a LOT cheaper than the 328 next to it.
I'm betting on a big correction within the next 6 months. Over the last few weeks I've exited all my bank and tech stocks, now it's just gold. There's been a correction at the end of every decade since WW2. It seems to take humans 10 years to forget that the market moves in both directions...
