    Hey All,

I have a friend who's been having his SI XKE restored in Tucson, and has hit a road block with the shop.

The exterior is finished and now it's time to put the new interior in, new rubber, electrical plumbing and etc. and the shop owner has not done any work since December, 2018. My friend's frustrated, but besides a newer shop, this guys seems to be the only XKE show in town.

Does anyone know any reputable British/Jaguar places that are local and reasonable to take this restoration to the end?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks!!!

Myself and Dr Michael Mueller restored possibly the world's best E-type as displayed at the Quail Lodge. I am in Scottsdale. For the sake of being politically correct and as someone who knows every inch in detail of a series one, I would be more than happy to speak with you. I have owned the worlds best unrestored examples where the detail cannot lie or become someone's interpretation as I have personally seen in more cars than I chose to admit. Hence, the unstable marketplace in pricing. Most of the restored cars at auction have been miles off the marque. The Quail Car is also with me here and would be a perfect example for you to look at as what we do and why I am different from the rest. I can be reached at 201-213-2681.

Did this all work out finding someone to assemble the car - if not i know of a gentleman here in phoenix that would be interested in assembling the car.

I am curious who the original shop is, inasmuch as I also am thinking about dealing with a British car shop in Tucson.
Please feel free to send me a private message.
    Cheers and thanks,
    Kurt
