Thanks for the offer, but I don't think that I am brave enough to make a purchase at an auction. I will be watching to see what price it brings.

A 488 spider sold for 368k. I guess getting people liquored up in Vegas before they bid has its merits.

I’m actually here for a conference at Mandalay Bay but haven’t had a chance to stop by. Glad I didn’t. These prices are ridiculous.

I wonder how many people bid in the heat of the moment without checking cars.com or Manheim to see that they can get the same car for $100k less.

Kind sir please recalibrate, as of now all 2013 458 spiders start at $300k.

As a favor to fc members and because I am a wonderful person, I am willing to sell my higher specced 15 with $4k miles for a mere $300k.

    You’re welcome.

It was the same guy that paid $1.4MM for the gt-40

Edit: I think I heard his wife wanted it at the last minute

Makes me want to take my F12 to Scottsdale in January! That’s insanity. I know my 458 spider is solid in its value, but that’s just nuts.

Wow! What a price on a 2013 or any 458 Spider for that matter. I agree, it seems ridiculous and am wondering what the buyer was thinking.

wowzers.....there has to be a backstory here...That price makes zero sense based on what I have been seeing of late. in fact, my local dealer has a super sweet spec'd, Nero 458, same year asking $210, which means it sells sub 200's.

That's idiotic. Those cars are about to drop below 200k. B/J auctions strikes me as a bit of a circus.

This is not indicative of anything. It was a Barrett Jackson auction. Heard lots of interesting tales about those guys. Enough to never go near with a red hot poker.
