I think I need one too. I’ve got a couple APs but that rose gold with ceramic is pretty great. Platona at the ball game tonight... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Timex 'American Documents' a somewhat eccentric foray by Timex in the direction of 'premium' watches! Comes in a rather amazing wooden box Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of about 500 made in the mid 1960s with a manual wind movement. Most were automatic. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not quite, regrettably... To be honest I wanted the 50th Anniversary Accutron hummer released in 2010 but I couldn't find a single one at a *reasonable* - i.e. not stupid - price point, so I temporarily settled for this Alpha, which is powered by a 262 kHz quartz crystal. The seconds' hand does sweep like on a mechanical watch (and actually like on a tuning fork watch as well), but it doesn't hum . Oh well. My grail Bulova will come along someday.
Ok Dave...what do you think of this one? 1968, Long E Mk1 all original, fuchsia insert, never polished. On my wrist as of today. Natural light only...no filters! Also original bracelet and the 280 end links...which are not fixed. Thats why there is a gap between the link and case. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My wife said ‘what the hell!?’ You bought a pink watch? You have gone off the deep end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep, nice pieces. Be careful, they are addicting. cwilson kept texting me pictures of them and I ended up with two of them.
