The fabulous Touring Tour last week cost Euro 12'950 INCLUDING VAT.
It was five nights (one night longer than the Cavalcade) and when you consider, the visit of La Scala in Milan (including private and rare behind the scene tour and pre-dinner in the museum), visit and guided tour thru the spectacular Ermenegildo Zegna factory and museum in Trivero, the incredible Lingotto in Torino (including lunch in the legendary bubble), plus the private Princess Borromeo Palace tour on the Island of Lake Maggiore, all Michelin restaurants, police motorcade and always the very best five star hotels, one got extremely good value for the money, plus a gorgeous and very scarce scarf as a memory gift for the ladies (full of Touring-bodied Ferraris!).
    This is unbeatable.

Apologies for insisting, but I think my question might have gotten buried in picture replies. Does anyone know the reason for this particular difference between the models, if any?

Here is a picture of the grille of 0064M ex Agnelli in 1952. Clearly the wider and slightly slanted horizontal slats, as opposed to the more standard thin vertical skates, are evident and were the spec ordered by Agnelli. Perhaps others had the same idea?

Wider, as well as slanted, interesting. Thank you for the picture Clive, and let me just say you own what I think is one of the top 5 prettiest cars of all time. Fantastic.

I’m not very good with this technology bit, but suffice it to say, here are a few more lovely photos from our 166 Celebration Tour from last year. How I miss being able to do things like this. Photos include, Prince Michael of Kent trying on Brian Ross’ Barchetta for size, Marcel turning up in his special order F12 for a good meal, the wonders of Lingotto (who else but Italians can build a car factory that looks like that?), displays at the National Motor Museum in Torino, driving through Milan with Police escorts and arriving at our Lake Maggiore Hotel. All very happy times!

Fabulous! Thank you Clive! Incredible memories. Certainly one of the top three events EVER I have attended in the past 45+ years, and I have been to hundreds since 1972, including several spectacular 250 GTO Anniversary Tours.
Should I add that the ONLY reason for me to come to your incredible tour was the meal..............NO! It was these lovely and iconic cars and the great cameraderie, the passion and enthusiasm that everybody showed in September 2019. Unforgettable. Thank you so much, Clive, YOU ARE THE BEST!

...then the ol`Prince could now experiance some hot Italian breet rather than his beloved Bentley-trucks which remind me always of shoe boxes!

Successful Trucks though Walter! I remember going over to Le Mans in a trip organised by Ray Wiltshire (Duncan’s father) in about 1987 with my SWB and a full accompaniment of Healeys, D types, Astons and of course Ettore Bugatti’s fabled ‘ fastest lorries in the world’ aka a fleet of pre-war Bentleys. Once we had docked and left the ferry, the post war cars all took off and hurtled down the N roads towards Le Mans and after a good 3 hours of hard and fast driving, we decided to pull over for a cup of coffee. No sooner had the first croissant reached the table, 10 mins later there came chugging into sight came all the Bentleys. Fast, reliable and to my mind, very beautiful shoe boxes....... :)

How thrilling to see all these beautiful cars driven. Each one prettier than the next one! Thank you.
