What I wanted say that (the new hybrid technology is getting old way more faster than any normal ICE. it will end up with a very old battery system in a couple of years, if u can ask any Tesla owner u will know what i mean, it's scary! of-course Tesla is a huge different story but still with all that upcoming battery technologies, a new 1 every second, the whole battery technologies is changing too too too fast!
I advise you to wait and see until the whole picture cleared! At the same time why don't you enjoy yourself with a new F8 or even the more gorgeous the 812GTS with its iconic beauty (that would be an iconic choice). ;)

And as for ur Q (how it works on a road trip with no plug in?)
I have asked a friend and he told me it would be a problem YES, he will get me with more details and I'll let u know.

That wasn't "moving on or expressing some humility", that was trying to get in a parting shot. 7-day site ban.

    Totally agree on tech advance.
However, the batteries on newest any car we see today is locked in 3years ago.
Car is not like cell phone. You just can not go to latest and hottest tech for next year product.
So in short, battery tech on cars are conservative in a way that you feel outdated 3 years later after your new purchase.
Buy fast sell fast is the only way.
Hang on to it has less meaning compared to ICE cars.

To me whatever hybrid super cars we buy, it will be a gamble for a while. So, if I can be the first ones or I am out and if my car is one of firsts then it will be on the market in 6 month max.

Thanks for ur reply I can see u know a lot about batteries, and I have a Q, can I change the batteries with the updated technology, I mean if i have an electric car and then there's a new tech around in a couple of years, can I replace only the battery system without changing the whole car system?

I can like electric cars and I do care for environment and climate change etc... But I don't know why they can't exclude Ferrari from all these new regulations , super-cars like Ferrari make a very little impact on climate change, because they are in general very rare in numbers in comparison to other car manufacturers.

Probably needed on the SF90 because you can't see out the back with a normal mirror?

    Yet it is an option...

I think electric cars are cool. We have a Tesla X. I also think whole climate thing is a bunch of b.s. Electric cars are horrible for the environment anyway. Still they are cool.

I did not as it is not possible to specify a front suspension lift with it. I like the pack, but it is 60k CHF and this is not the type of car I would buy for track use. It is a fast road car, I will use it for touring, therefore its ability to deal with speed bumps ranks higher than its track ability....I did however specify a full carbon interior and the racing seats (I know I know, not as comfortable on a long trip, but they look awesome), I think it is a must on this car

You really have a bee in your bonnet over this car, don’t you?

It’s honestly getting kinda weird now.
