    Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find the correct transmission oil level for a Honda CL77. Does anyone know how much transmission oil it takes? Thanks for your help!

I have the original factory manual for my CL77, will check when I get a chance.

I assume you tried to Google search it?

Thank you!! I have yet to be able to find anything. We have the factory manual as well and nothing with the quantities in it. Do you think it shares the oil with the engine and you just go by the dipstick?

I’m pretty sure it’s shared and the oil pools in the crankcase. I’d use the dipstick, it’s all we’ve ever done with ours (owned since 1967, second owners).

    Post a pic of yours!

Thank you again for your help. The bike actually isn't mine but a family friends. It is in mint condition having been sitting indoors for most of it's life.

    Anytime!

Mine has spent most of its life inside and not ridden. Has 8,000 original miles, and I’m sure she’d start up right now with a battery and some fresh gas.

It needs a full resto, one day I’ll get to it.
