One must have great sensibility to capture shots like that.

Great photographer, great camera, great edition and above all... one of the greatest Ferraris of all time.

    Congrats!

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Tough color to capture in pictures...happened to get a nice shot that shows the color range in different lighting.

Beautiful. Looks like that small road that takes us to Bellagio in Italy.

    Kind regards,

Hi Nuno, do you think the 458 is probably a bit wide for mountain roads? I felt this sometimes while driving. Also it scares me to go closer to walls or front traffic (specially in Switz passes)... probably this could be a good topic to start in a new thread.

    Ciao!

    Good afternoon my friend.

I feel the 458 is definitely wide for mountain road passes. One of the widest Ferraris I know of is the Testarossa, which is 1,97 meters wide. The 458 is almost 1,94 meters wide, so it’s definitely tricky in some city traffic in Europe and Alpine mountain passes, even though I think the roads on the Swiss side are wider and nicer than on the Italian side. Last time I went to Lago Maggiore and Lago di Como, I drove (please don’t laugh...) a Fiat 500 Abarth... On the roads leading to Bellagio, even my little Fiat felt as big as an american pickup truck!

It’s a shame narrow roads sometimes take the ease and enjoyment of driving our 458s in the Alps... Because as your picture clearly shows, that region in Europe is one of the nicest, most charming and beautiful in the world to enjoy the 458, one of the nicest, most charming and beautiful Ferraris of all time. A 458 really belongs in such an unique scenery.

Wish you many more kilometers of happiness and fun behind the wheel in good health!

    Tanti cari saluti,

    Nuno.
