Oh, I should add...I've consigned 3 cars with my local dealer in the past 24 months or so and they all sold for more than I could have gotten and 2 sold very quickly. My belief is a warm-weather Ferrari dealer could get this car sold (with the stripe off of it) for market very quickly. It would have been gone long, long ago if consigned to start with. My dealer charges a single digit commission rate and most consignment fees I've seen range from 4-8%. I find the value to be there given the higher prices they can get and the zero effort/hassle I get. If I had a beautiful 458 Spider, I would have spent about 10 minutes on the sale process...long enough to sign the 1-page consignment form and hand over the keys to my dealer.

okay, one more post. I just re-looked at the OP and...man, this car is a great spec and low miles too. There is nothing not to like here (except, I gotta say while beating the dead horse, the stripe). This would have sold asap in June at the dealer with a 2 handle in front, no?

I can attest to that. I have a 2015 TDF Blue spider with less than 10K miles for less than 6 months and I was offered just a little over 230 by a F dealer for it. No stripe...

How does this color compare to Blue Electrico ? I will be in the Valley tomorrow if the car is available to be seen. The email on my profile is old I tried to change it , but the site said I could not.

    Chupee,

I made an offer on your car that met your price. Why did you change your mind about selling it?

I have never recevied any offers on my car that were even close to the ask. When was this offer made please?. If that is a fact I owe you an apology. Once again I can say with 1000% confidence no real offers have ever been presented to me. Feel free to email me if still interested.

Even if he did turn down a sale, it is his car....he has no obligation to sell it unless he wants to.

Be patient F8 is so much better than a 488... 458 is getting hurt by the 488 free fall but after time 458's will recover and stabilize... these are not investments but values will stabilize as new car prices keep rising

    I disagree.

As the 430 continues to sink as well and is now solidly a Max 100k car with slight exceptions 458s will creep lower. They will go to the 100-165 range. And 488s from 160 to 230s.

This is all in the future. Not this second.

This is what happens every single time.

I agree with this. That’s why I don’t understand why the OP chose not to counter offer the original 180k that was offered. Maybe I’m the one that’s crazy ?

Interesting, as that is now two people who said they made good offers the owner claims he never heard of. Certainly something is amiss.
