Have to admit ,Speedtail wins in the Spaceship looks dept. Then again it is 5X the price.

What's the chance of the LaF replacement being a 3 seater?

Zero. It's a US safety issue.

Are you saying you prefer the speedtail? Because I would think you are on something if you did. Really struggle to see the point of the speedtail in terms of the market. And it is prettier than the Senna, but barely.

And for your last point, somewhere around zero would be my guess, even though I love that arrangement on the F1.

I just like the overall look of it inside and out.3 seats is the icing on the cake.

The “real” new 3 seater will be the Gordan Murray T50, not this speedwhale rubbish.

    Not even remotely close...

Plus (to my eyes) the SF90 is stunning. The mclaren is a total mess!.... Looks like a freakin tadpole.

Neither is appealing. I would like to see the SF90 in person though, sometimes pics don't do the cars justice.

+1. Photos of both are not visually tantalizing. In the flesh, that may change. Less likely with Macca.

IF the T50 does really materialise and with the proposed specs , it will be dynamite. Looks good , weight is way down and 12,400 Red Line

The speed tail is crap as far as im concerned.

I must be the only one who likes the Speedtail.

Although for that kind of money probably I'd buy another thing, i.e. a Stradale and more stuff.

It's interesting to see the pricing on all these cars. The SF90 is truly a bargain for the tech and performance.

Will there be cases of a SF90 on fire? Who knows. I don't think it will be an issue.

That Speedtail is three times the price of an SF90, not five though.

I think it looks great. Have not been a huge fan of McLaren designs as of late, but this is pretty sweet.

Performance numbers are also quite in line with the price. Imagine having just purchased your 3 million dollar hybrid Aventador, then this exquisite thing comes and blows your doors off in a way that will make your head spin. I think it just gives credence to the notion that the Sian is nothing but a gaudy three million dollar fluff piece.

I suppose the real fear in purchasing this would be whether or not it will depreciate like an anvil dropped from a crane, and how the future will be considering the fact that McLaren currently seems to be incredibly lacking in the service department.

As for the LaF being a three seater? No way. McLaren simply does this as a throw-back to the F1. Ferrari has no interest in this.

Not sure I will go as far as calling the SF90 a mess. A mess is the F430. The SF90 is not exactly beautiful, but it can definitely be made to work with the right spec.

I believe the suggested reline is 12100. At any rate, we know from history that suggested and claimed specs are often not what ends up in the final production car. Time will tell I suppose.

Different brief though. The Speedtail is a top speed car, but unfortunately for McLaren, there are much faster top speed cars out there...

You know, looking at the performance numbers, not sure I agree. It is blisterinly fast to 185 mph, which lead me to believe it is in fact fairly light and nimble. I would not be surprised if the next "big" Ferrari could hit 400 kph. And even if it's a bit of a speed machine, I suspect that it will still outperform the Lambo at every kind of performance game there is. Being it speed, slalom, cornering, breaking etc.

Ferrari isn't concerned with top speed for many years now, though.
The Enzo was quoted at "more than 350", so was the LaFerrari, which is a lot quicker.
If Ferrari wanted to build a top speed car they would easily make a 500 kph monster. They just don't care for that.
