    Looks like not only the body was repainted, but the interior was reupholstered also, because it was born in Rosso Corsa with black interior and red fabric on the seats.

    Nevertheless many thanks for the attempt.The gasket has become liquid inside and has now leaked. I have not seen anything like that before. Has anyone here ever seen something like that?

    At the risk of sounding cavalier about someone else’s money, it’s an F50. I would just get the proper part and chalk it up to one of this unfortunate happenings. Maranello Parts in the UK has what you need for 792 British Pounds. Bizarre situation nonetheless.
