I was chatting with a friend and thinking that some guys are in F1 for too long now. Imagine an F1 with no drivers with more than 6-year experience: we would get rid of RAI VET GRO BOT PER RIC (sad to see he would be cut on this methodology) HUL KUB (gone anyway). From the rest of the drivers, who would be #1 and #2 in the 3 tier 1 teams + Mclaren? As much as I don't like Stroll, maybe he can in the future be a decent #2... Not sure if we can see a #2 available for Ferrari, we might need one solid but uninspired old gun...
Why though? You'd have someone like Michael Schumacher out of the sport 3 years before before winning his 5 WDCs for Ferrari.

I think it would be more interesting to separate drivers from sponsors, thus making it a nonfactor if they bring a major sponsor with them, which is essentially a form of buying a seat on a team. May as well give a seat to whomever sells the most Girl Guide cookies.
Young drivers can't save a sport that is getting old. F1 is past its prime. Synthetic, virtual racing will be cheaper and more in keeping with what young people today find entertaining.
