A couple of times lately after parking my Cali T and starting it up again it does not pull away and it feels like the parking brake is not releasing. Going into neutral and then selecting a gear again all works OK. According to the manual I should not have to release the parking brake by pulling on the brake button.
    Anyone else experience this?

Was your car parked on a grade and did you push on the brake pedal before turning on the ignition? I haven’t had this experience before so I would have to check next time I drive my car.

No, on the flat, and yes with the brake pedal. I have been told to always use the parking brake on/off switch rather than just try and pull away on the throttle, although the manual would suggest this isn't necessary. Seems to be working OK so far.

I never manually release a HOLD or PARK before driving away after I start my car but I do manually engage 1st gear before I pull away. I never (have to) engage neutral before engaging 1st gear.

It’s been raining and cold here, no climate warming at all the last 12 months, just the opposite! When it dries up I will try to get in a last few kilometres and see if I can reproduce your observations before it gets too cold for my tires.
