Thanks for the post, but I think saying this is the "Worst" thing that can happen is a bit hyperbolic. I can think of many things far worse then a stray plastic hubcab.
While not an accident, when your 12 year old paint is/was perfect its pretty devastating in that regard.
Meh - Try a 12" table saw blade coming off of the work truck's peg as you're approaching each other with about an effective 90 mph closing speed. Hit almost dead center of Mom's Jaguar, standing straight up, slightly embedding itself into the lower core support after the bumper cover and structure, and AC condenser. That was about 10 or so years ago.

My exotic car ownership worst nightmare is ending up like Paul Walker. I’d downvote this WORST nightmare thread if I could...almost like that rick-rolling phenomenon 10 years ago. Hubcap damage would be one of the cheapest repairs I’ve had to do to my Ferrari.
