Hi For restoring a 1969 Maserati Ghibli 4.7 Manual, which suplier do you recomend for engine parts, rubbers, etc. Thanks
Hello and welcome. I can 100% also recommend Stuart Avery at MIE. If you are European based then you could save some shipping and import duty with Candini Modena, Franco Tralli or Carrozzeria Campana in Italy. It seems that most rubbers for sale originate in Italy anyway at Cicognaniguarnizione.com. Even those available via Mr Fiat in the US. Extra odds and ends which were borrowed from Alfa and others, such as handles, lights etc can be found at www.OKP.de There is an absolute wealth of people on this forum who are extremely knowledgeable about the details of Ghiblis and their restoration and would be able to offer first hand advice. I’m certain any further calls for help could be quickly answered, so don’t be shy! We would all love to see any pictures of your car too... Very best regards. Mark.
You may want to refer to the Ghibli authenticity guide: http://thecarnut.com/Manuals/Ghibli_Features_Options.pdf There are a many photos on my website that could be useful during the restoration. http://thecarnut.com/maseratigt.html Please post some photos of the car you are restoring so we can get a better idea of the scope of work.
