Going out today for my last drive in my 308. I have surgery tomorrow after which I will not have the ability to drive this car any further. Not bringing the wheelchair so it will make it an interesting day. Gonna try to get the carwash to wash it while I'm stuck inside and get people to put gas in it for me. My wife is mad as hell for taking it out alone (as she should be), but this is a ME moment. (So I share it on social media, so much for the ME moment) :) Image Unavailable, Please Login

Oh my...this is heartbreaking. I don't know you or your situation, David, but I can tell you that my heart aches for you. Seven plates on that GTB....I'm born and raised FCA/GPI. PM if you need some support. Dane

Live in Arizona and spend time in Montana in the summer (Snowbird) registered the car in Montana because I could never get the car through emissions here.

Had an awesome ride. Started with the Phoenix tunnel which I went through, turned around and went through again So now you know what kind of drive it was. (Yep, childlike moronic stunts) Stopped at Elwood Motor Sports in Cavecreek and Scott detailed the outside of the car since it still had about 6 months of dust and dirt from sitting in the garage, Headed out to the Forza photoshoot location, and I'll stop there so I don't incriminate myself in any unlawful acts of childlike behavior. Wore myself out and drove home.(In rushhour traffic ... AAck) So overall an awesome drive. Off to start my new adventure tomorrow and feeling good about it

Every one of us here will one day face that last ride. At least we had it, that can never be taken away.

David. So sad to hear. That said, glad your ride was so awesome.

Seen your car at Alex’s shop while he was looking after mine. I just love your car.

I know you worked fiberglass (boats, right?) and you MUST let us know who can do another hood like yours...I really want one for my 77 that I’m ready to pimp on a bit.

    Best!

So sorry to hear that David. Hopefully you are wrong about the last drive. I think I can speak for all of us though and request more pics. It looks very nicely done and I want to see more.

I have also found that one of the things I love most about my Ferrari, is sharing it with others. Completely understand your ME moment and wanting to share with others that truly understand what these cars are all about.
