    Very tricky. They are both brilliant. Michelin slightly more durable. CN36 lighter and more grip in the wet.

    However the main thing is handling wise they are both great.

    Thanks, Dougal. I recall the comparison test in the German magazine that you posted where the Pirellis won hands down, but I put more stock in your own experience.

    I have used the CN36 on this TR6

    Fortunately it belongs to a good enough freind to allow me to give it a proper spanking, not just a dawdle down to the shops. They are a bit too big really for a TR6. it is more suityed to a 165R15. However when he bought it it had oversized rims on it. But the CN36 is still nice and progressive in the corners and they stop as well as those little TR brakes are capable of
