Fchaters, any recommendations for a Detailing Dryer / Blower that is good enough for the 308? I was looking at the normal leaf blowers and the Air Force Blaster Sidekick for small vehicles. Any ideas?
    Thanks

I use an electric leaf blower. Cheap and works.

It's those amber front turn signal lenses that trap the water more than anywhere else on that car and if you don't get it dry, your bumper will rust and swell and split the bumper cover.

    Guess how I know.

I use waterless wash and a microfiber. No drying.

I also want to go on waterless detailing but in the case it’s needed, I wanted to know if a normal leaf blower will do the trick.

Can you please share the waterless detailing process? Thanks

Exactly. I've owned my 308 for 10 years and it's never been washed.

Process is simple. In pairs of microfiber towels, spray quick detailer, wipe lightly with one, then finish with the other. You'll go through 3-4 pairs, working front to back, top to bottom. Separate towels for the wheels, door jambs and engine compartment.

I have a case of Volvo waterless car wash that I got from work that does the same thing, maybe cleans a tiny bit better but if you do this after every drive before putting the car cover on, you'll never scratch the paint and never have to wash.

FWIW- I always hand wash and dry the car. Then take it for a short drive up to speed. I think it is a bad idea to wash the car and then immediately park and cover it in the garage. Seems like that would just be asking for rust/corrosion. My drive entrance is fairly steep and it is surprising how much water pours out when I back down the entrance after I have washed and dried it.

Sorry, just saw this. Meguiar's Quick Detailer for the past 10 years. Easy to find, good quality, not expensive, does the job!

I do the same. Especially the brakes will thank us for that procedure.

I wonder if I could sell the wife on this???

Agreed. My driveway is very steep. what doesn't flow off parked on the incline rolls off when I back it out. Then taking it for a spin (what's the speed limit?) get the rest of the water off.

as to a detailer, I use One Grand Show-off detailer

Here's how you do it - tell her the dyson hair dryer is $350 and this $125 Ferrari one is a great deal....
