Late to this party but get one! Its the most fun. I had mine restored in Italy. Valentina is her name. Painted in Porsche GTRS green with custom white interior. I get soo much attention. It's such a great car to own and drive.

Say Mike if you're interested, there's one that shares a parking garage with my Multipla that sounds as if the owner wants to sell it.
from France & registered here in B.C. Shipping would be a killer from here though (unless you have a long pick up bed).

send me the info if you have it...
specifically, I want an older one with the painted metal dash. Good shape (not really looking to restore). Much prefer white over red.

I get back to you on specifics when I can contact the owner as I don''t know the year.
Car is roll top "convertible", was registered in France before coming to Canada, is cafe au lait beige, and appears to be in very fine nick.

It went for 17k 3 years ago on BAT, 15k would be a steal. The number is probably about 18k-20k for that one, it is very nice and like you said, the suicide doors are amazing.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the L model square dash. But, you can remove the plastic from the dash area and have this body colour. A few have. Or, get a F / R model with the round binnacle ;)

All I need is a white Stratos and I'm done (if only) The funny thing is, the 500 is my go to car at the moment, more so than the Lambo. I don't tend to worry too much where I park her for one ;) Also, the 500 is just the most fun you can have legally in pubic. This you will find when you have tracked down your bambino. Then there is, if you wish, the massive amount of upgrading options. It can get a bit crazy with so much available and it won't break the bank too much. I've got a few upgrades on mine, but nothing that detracts from the original look. The electronic dash comes out in sub 1 min for example. Most of the upgrades are geared more towards reliability and useability than anything else. The only advice I would offer anyone looking for a 500, is, if you are going to use it a lot (and you will), you may want to consider a sync gearbox. Double de-clutching is a PITA

Yeah, pretty much everything is on hold at the moment. Same over this side of the pond in London. All we can do is batten down the hatches and hope we come through this in short order.

Keep well, safe and looking for the 500!

    Cheers
    Rob
