Anyone experiencing the same??? Trying to watch the Russian GP but I am getting a message to upgrade to premium service. I have the annual subscription.

Only premium allows live viewing. The lesser package only allows replays on demand. The app was trying to tell you that.

Customer support emailed back. I had to delete the app and reinstall it. Weird. Works now. Thank you.

Any problem using the F1TV app in the USA? I don't have ESPNNews, and have thus missed several practice and qualifying sessions. I never watch anything live, only on replay. Thus, any issues with me buying the lesser package?

    Thanks.

I’ve been using it for three races now...I’ve had zero issues. My only complaint is lack of platform compatibility. That is, there does not appear to be a ROKU, or any other “TV app”...I have to watch the content on my iPad or my Android phone.

Thank you. Would be great to have a ROKU app. I suppose I can always use Quick connect to beam it to my Samsung TV from my phone.

Yeah, there are definitely easy work-arounds, but a proper ROKU app would be nice.

F1 obviously typically airs on the ESPN family of channels, where available. F1TV doesn't seem to have any apps available as of this time.

The phone app sucks. Half the time it fails to recognize your F1TV credentials.

In these cases I switch to the website instead which streams the identical content and works perfectly.

Overall the content is easily worth the subscription cost for me And was a factor in us junking cable completely this year.

I really hope they are working on a Roku app as well.

    Regards
    David

So to be clear there is no way to get this on my new badass 65 inch Samsung that I bought last night? I have been wanting to look into this.

Stream on smart phone. Play on Samsung TV using Screen Mirroring.

Particularly if you're using WiFi, no reason it shouldn't be.
