A fast rack really transforms the car

Quicker response to steering inputs, so the car feels more lively. I've also installed a smaller steering wheel, so the actual distance my hands move is less as well.

nah... 911 is not fast enough rack for me. :) do you have any idea what the steering ratio is on both a G Bod 911 and a 308? Im not talking about lock to lock but the actual steering ratio

i had a 930 and now a semi-gutted track prep M491. my stock rack is coming out for 2.5 lock . there was a reason why there was "rally" quick rack option for the retrofits S into ST's, at the factory along with the SCRS homologated special.
