I would love to see the finished product, very, very interesting concept and extremely desirable, IMO. Reminds me the ultra expensive British "restomod", the Eagle Speedster.
Looks better than a stock series 3, which were the dogs of the bunch. If he cut a 2+2 it's no problem. Now he could have started with a Robles body, if they were concerned about mangeling a original series 1, but as he said crappy series 3 are still inexpensive. Air intake looks odd. It just ruins one of the e-types iconic features the center bonnet buldge.
