As long as it weights quite a bit less - why not :)

Agreed. But how much weight do you think they can shed off? I‘d say 120 kg at most, when you look at the Performante, which was 40 kg less than the LP610. AWD weighs only about 35 kg according to Lamborghini. Weight in real life is again something different of course.

Ferrari achieved $80kg on the Pista so I assume they can do similar. Huracan STS (Squadra Corsa) weighs $1270kg dry and Performante 1422kg dry so a number somewhere in the middle would achievable IMO

I know I may catch an earful but I ended up pre-trading the Performante on a F8. I loved the Performante! It's a sublime car but I like to try different things. So, last Saturday I placed an order for a F8. I want to experience the brand and what it has to offer. Thanks everyone for your input. I already miss the Performante but look to a new beginning. I may ask for help regarding spec as I can still change it. Will post a new thread for that. Look forward to joining the community.

How big of a difference is this? Is it worth seeking out only the 2019’s (there aren’t many). Most of the ‘18 and ‘19 come with LDS

Most are equipped with LDS. Definitely worthwhile.

The 2019 is slightly tighter with more direct steering.

Not much IMO - maybe the "STS" :)

Lambo just launched a "FXX" type program - clearly they are ramping up customer racing and hence why STS sounds promising. The program will be a V12 car but you never know ...

I had an invite to go to the factory to preview the "SVR". Basically it's a stripped down Aventador, aero tweaks, hp bump but track only. Last hurrah for the Aventador before the replacement/refresh.
