MacNeil and Mozart, as well as Workman were there also in their GTOs (as well as other family members in other machinery). I guess 2019 was the first time GTOs were permitted to participate in the Colorado Grand. Paul
I had a friend who owned a 1964 250 GTO and he drove it in Germany in the late 1960's. He had an extra engine and sold everything for $3.3K. I told him years ago that he should have brought the car back to the US. I met another well know endurance racer who sold two GTO's for $3K and he admitted that he should have kept one of them. I do not think anyone knew how expensive the cars would be in the future and I should have bought a 1953 340 Mexico Spider for $4.2K in 1974.
