Might as well start a Qual thread. 18hrs to go. If qual is delayed due to weather or "cleanup" they wont run it and the grid will be based on FP2. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Image Unavailable, Please Login

Wow, I'm surprised the place looks that good! They must have an army, like Disney has. Disney can get their parks up and running a day after a hurricane hits.
Wonderful to finally know how the track survived this -very well- everyone looks very serene which is lucky considering about 20 in Japan are deceased or missing after flooding incidents.
I flew into Japan 2 years ago in October, landing the day after a Typhoon struck. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, and you wouldn't have even known a typhoon just passed through. The nice thing was, our airplane was nearly empty. My wife and I just stretched out and shared a row of seats. Most comfortable flight I've ever had. I think most everyone else cancelled for fear of the typhoon!! Kevin
Arrived yesterday, looks like there wont be any problems with the track or the weather, looking forward to the race
15 min. to go. Probably one of the most interesting qualy's this year. Can Ferrari/Leclerc take the 5th pole in a row, Max eager to win with a new, more powerfull Honda engine on Honda's home track, and Ham. used to winnig pole these past seasons.
