Ferrari 348 Challenge exhaust

Yeah, but not very many.

Interested too cause it would be kinda simple to have a similar exhaust custom made...

 

I found mine on Ebay, so keep a look out!
Needed it to replace the straight through Borla race exhaust that was getting me into trouble with the noise police at UK tracks. http://www.vpoint.tv/f348ch/

 

After looking for awhile for one of these for my 348 Challenge, I managed to find two!

I bought them both figuring someone on here might need one at some point.

If someone with a 348 Challenge needs one, let me know. Prefer to only sell to someone with an actual Challenge car that needs one. These are in such short supply, figure they should go to where they were meant to be!

 

I put the used one on my car last night and went to Lime Rock today with it. Sounds amazing! Also SO much lighter than the larger 348 Challenge can-muffler (looks like the bottom portion of the stock OEM muffler). Attached are a couple of pics of it installed before I put the oem heat-shields back on.

Does "raucous" describe its sound (in a good way) when you're blipping the throttle?

 

A little bit. Just sounds good!

It seems to actually be loudest at lower rpm, interestingly. Almost like there is some kind of resonance below 3500rpm. On the track, wide open to red line sounds amazing. Not as high pitched as some of the after market ones.

Ill see if I can have a friend take some video to post on here when im back at Lime Rock next week.

 

That would be awesome. I remember how great the 348 Challenge cars sounded at Road Atlanta back in the 90s.

I'd love to, Jason, but my car is at Pocono Sportscar now and needs several items attended to to get it ready for Sebring in January. FCA-ESR will be at Lime Rock Park again July 31st and August 1st next year but I'm always up for extra track time at LRP. Please send me details and your 2020 Lime Rock Drivers Club track schedule.
