This is what the TR gave on the dyno, should get more after a proper major! Believe he paid like 70k for the car which has 45k+miles

Following his videos to see what they do with it and the result. I do like his regular guy approach, and they have two of them that they are going to do a full engine out at the same time.

I find the guy to be kind of hard to watch and listen to lol, but I’m excited that he is excited and I really hope he spins his TR ownership positively. It looks like he got a very fair deal on his car. Too many people try to capitalize on youtube by ignorantly trashing exotic cars in hope for clicks, cough covey, cough cough.

anyone else notice the glaring hood paint mismatch on normalguysupercar’s TR? To be expected at the price point. Remember, you get what you pay for.

He should take off the air filter apparatus and let the throttle bodies breathe freely and see the HP. Then take off the exhaust completely (assuming he's running cats) and test again.

My view on dyno results are that they can be quite variable, even with the same car on the same dyno, but on different days. Main takeaway for me is that his power figure would suggest that there isn't any glaring tuning issue with his car, and it seems to be healthy. Pretty good news for all the higher-mileage guys who keep their cars well-exercised.

I like the guy, he's reasonably humble and not like the many shouty young youtubers out there.

Well with modern air filters directly on top of the throttle bodies, maybe. I'm more interested in the restrictions imposed by the 6? 90 degree turns in the air intake, as well as the restrictiveness of the exhaust. It'd be one helluva sweet sounding video with only headers too! :)

It’s good to see that our old cars can still have close to the quoted outputs.
