Would you guys consider blu corsa to be the official launch color of the F8?

IIRC one of the two F8 tributo (or tributi?) displayed at the Geneva Motor Show was Blu Corsa, the other being red (I think Rosso Scuderia).

A recent Ferrari trend has been to introduce a new color with the launch of a new car.

I’m not sure when this began.

I recall seeing the FF at its LA reveal in a new color, Grigio Abu Dhabi.

I also recall that the 458 spider wore triple layer yellow, at its reveal.
And this was featured in the official video with Alonso at the wheel.

And I recall that the 488 launch car was introduced in Blu Corsa.

The 812 reveal/launch car was shown in the 70th Anni Rosso.

The 812 GTS also had its own special launch color —Grigio GTS

Of course you can spec any of these color on any model. Not to mention dozen of colors in the Tailor Made program. And if that isn’t enough, create your own unique signature color—but be prepared to spend a fortune to do so.

The launch 488 GTB (presented in Maranello in Feb. 2015 and at the following Geneva show in March) were Grigio Ferro and Rosso Corsa; I think later the 488 Spider was Blu Corsa.
On the other hand the launch Pista had (apart from the Blu America stripes) regular colors, Rosso Corsa and Argento Nurburgring.
But the launch 430 Scuderia (at Francfort) had a special metallic blue color, not sure what it was exactly.

Avio met was the launch colour of the 430 Scuderia at the Geneva Motorshow at its debut and at the LA Motorshow for the US debut.

I think the rear-end on the spider works better than the coupe.

On the coupe, the F40 inspired vented Lexan is already a very nice visual accent. To my eye, the swoopy spoiler and the complicated design of the rear bumper make for an over-the-top design. Not terrible. But over done.

"The F8 sits somewhere between the 488 GTB and the 488 Pista. It isn’t meant to complete or better the 488 Pista so consider it a stiffened-up version of the 488 GTB with close to Pista levels of performance and handling. The F8’s twin-turbo V8, pumps out 710 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and peak torque is 568 pound-feet, a straight lift from the incredible 488 Pista. .
The straight line performance is phenomenal I would say almost identical to the pista and in a different league to the 488. It’s gear changes have been made less abrupt than that of the Pista which Ferrari engineers referred to as “gunshot changes” .
I found the Brake feel a bit soft unlike the Pista, although it possesses great stopping power once you get on it.
This car has been designed more for road use keeping in mind it replaces the 488 so the cabin is well insulated and the only let down here was the sound. .
Engine response is unlike any turbocharged engine in the world with zero lag and very smooth power delivery. Easily winning the best turbo charged engine on sale.
    .
The F8’s ride is a lot more compliant and with softer damping making it perfect for daily use. The new smaller diameter steering wheel felt better in my hands which helped in placing the car accurately.
    .
It was a very short drive on the track so couldn’t get much more feedback from this experience.. will wait for the on road experience
    ."
