well what I like the most about this is that our Chicago Fchat is gaining new faces ! and we just might get to see each other again this year, and there will be warmer days ahead next year to meet up.

I am hoping next year will be even better up at the Road America BRIC Historical races wich of late have been boring. This should bring in a lot of Can Am cars atleast and maybe a few more Ferrari race cars.

My first race next year will be the Sebring 12 hours since the WEC cars are still going on this double header 2 race weekend in March 2020. Looking forward to the C8R's in the flesh.

Anyone planning to go to FuelFed or Vernon Hills C&C? Also, anyone following the Mecum auction? The 1980 308 went for 52.8. Alfas all over the board from for 1,100 to 9,900, and a biturbo convertible for 5,500. Strange prices. Very inconsistent.

Based on the current weather, I’m going to hit both, but will play it by ear.

I'm working Sunday so I'm out. I think I'll be putting the car away for the winter this week. I was at mecum Thursday and Friday for a little while each day. It was weird some beat up cars were going for stupid money, and some decent cars were going cheap. There is a 360 spider in today's auction.

That’s what it seemed like to me as well. The mid level muscle car market seemed fairly strong. I know the c4 and c5 markets are in decline, but unless those cars were true roaches, some people got some great buys.

i took a look at most of the c4's that were there for the Thursday auction. the conditions varied, but i think most sold for more than they were worth.

That may be the case with c4 and c5s
I have been searching for the right c3 chrome bumper bb or lt-1 and those have been climbing
