I'll say one thing about that stupid post, IF Grahame got a trophy, where was he going to put it ? In the Ferrari club house ??!! Oh wait, we don't have one .......... I'm waiting to see if poor Keith Wong gets stiffed again for the Warwick trophy at the FNR .....AGAIN , I "won" it last year and some other person got awarded the trophy the year before from what I heard .... I reckon he should go for the trifeca I'm not allowed to "go fast" this year I'm going to buy my own trophy for the track day .... it's a lot cheaper to get
I think that the trophy may now be stored in the trophy cabinet at Ferrari North Shore Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
OK, why was the trophy awarded ? I was at that ball for dementia, is that why the club was given the trophy ?
Not why it was awarded, you fool! Why wasn't anyone told about it? Never mind. The people who matter will understand that post.
What ever the story is about the trophy, the poster lost me at “I heard...” especially when they don’t identify themselves; AND I think there are way more important issues at hand (transparency, process, member’s access to information).
It goes towards the mind set regardless of the importance. Write off the accuracy of the post at your peril.

I’m not shore about this whole trophy thing. It’s a rubbish trophy. And frankly who on earth would give a **** one way or another about receiving it? What kind of knob would stick it in the pool room and brag about it? My friends would laugh their head off if I tried to make anything of such a nothing award. I guess what I’m getting at is why would anyone consider hiding it? That seems to be the accusation / implication in Whom’s posts. I’m with Karen on this. There are far more important things to be concerned about.
I agree mate. It’s probably not ethically correct, but hardly a big deal. I think PP is right, it’s just a barometer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The club spends up to $6K annually of members funds to send the Grahame to represent the club at the Ferrari Presidents Owners Club conference and members have the right to expect that the awarding of a trophy would be something that he would remember and tell the NSW committee about, and the entire club instead of keeping quiet. If you paid for an employee to attend a conference, you'd expect no less, Also the Ferrari club is entirely run by volunteers, they don't get paid. You'd think the president, of all people, would understand that and acknowledge the awarding of a trophy as a 'job well done" to the volunteers who put on the event. BTW The GG , David Morrison stated: "The standard you walk past is the standard you accept". "That goes for all of us, but especially those who, by their rank, have a leadership role Just sayin'
Not sure where that advice came from, but Clause 36(2) of the FCA Rules provides for all accounts and books and records (and that includes Minutes) are available for inspection by the members at the discretion of the National Committee. The reason for the "at discretion provision" is so that the very occasional sensitive matter is not necessarily available - but in the normal course of events, it means 99% of what there is should be available for inspection where any such request is half reasonable. My basis for saying all this is that I was the person who drafted the FCA Rules at the time, and that was the intention of those words.
