If it was my money AP followed by Vacheron Constantin. I am not a fan of most steel Patek Philippes. They feel too light. Consider the chrono versions since they're not that much more and hold value way better.

Own and AP 15202 and PP 5164A. Love them both, but quite different in so many ways. Eyeballing an Overseas to complete the trilogy, but having a difficult time falling in love.

Also Ryan, unless you're married to the white dial on the AP, go for blue or black. Much better for resale. Unless you go Chrono and get the Panda style dial.

5711 is essentially my grail watch but I am rational enough to say I am not established enough to justify the expenditure. I was open to start with a Calatrava direct first but it didn't seem like one would really get me progress on The List. I get it, from my Ferrari experience.

I had initially thought $18-22k range then thought just pony up for at least white/grey Royal Oak, blues are pushing $30k for 15400 and low to mid 30s for 15500. Then Darth suggested going all the way for the Aquanaut.

All of the sudden $17-18k for the Vacheron seems like a deal.

Dude. You BLEW IT with the AP when that horse left the barn a while back. Now, even other watch co Presidents are told no and have to go beg Francois.

    (Don't make me say I told ya so!) :D :D :D

The Aquanaut isn't all the way, the Nautilus is, $$$-wise.

The AP gets my vote, but the steel market is crazy, wait for a recession.

I don't like any of the choices.

I know I shouldn't say anything unless I don't hav anything nice to say, but they're all kinda ugly AF frankly. Single pushers...
