    This I doubt. It will be a 2+2 from what I've been told and with about the same."lack of" rear seat usability as the Porto.

    What do you mean by finally? This will not replace the Lusso.

    And donyou really think the clients who prefer the V12 Lusso will switch to the small entry level Ferrari? Not likely.

    I keep hearing Lusso replacement in 2020, and I personally think that's a lot more exciting than this.

    Not sure who it is for. But with the V6 version coming, I suppose it will be to open up a larger market shares in Asia etc. with a more accessible "baby Ferrari" to quote Marcel.

    More like a 911 fighter? I will not be surprised if the V6 version will compete with the C4S price segment.

    I don't like the Lusso, this is only my personal taste and doesn't mean it's not a very good car, of course. It will be discontinued at the end of this year and replaced by the SUV, but not before 2022 , so for some time the 2+2 in Ferrari range will be the two "Portofino "

    Can I ask where you get your info from?

    The 911 Turbo is already on price point with the Porto, so it does not take a big step to make a cheaper V6 on point with a C4S.

    That the V6 should have more power, that I seriously doubt. I have been told by a Ferrari rep that the Porto coupè will share the V8 with the Cabrio. So if the V6 was more powerful than the current Porto, where does that leave the V8? Not seeing that happening. This would also put this car directly in the path of the LB V6 and not seeing that happening either.


    The Porto coupè cannot take the place of the Lusso. The Lusso is a true four seater, which the Porto is definitely not. And seeing that the FUV is a few years out, no way. The demographic for the FUV is also completely different. Also, the V12 comes with a status those in that segment will not give up in exchange for the entry level V8, that's a cold hard fact. Discontinuing the Lusso now would mean that all of those who want the four seater V12 would have to get the small 2+2 V8? No way. They can't even physically use the car. The Lusso is a great car and many seem to think so, and fact is that many buyers in that segment won't even look at the Porto level cars. It might seem snobbish, but that's the reality of the Ferrari comunity. Last guy I talked to who had interest in a Porto, was as a car for the wife. This is not very uncommon these days. Not saying this has to do with my personal opinion about the Porto, this is simply a description of how I see people act in relation to the marque and the cars.

    If it's not a 2+2, then it kinda stops being a Porto Coupé and rather "Baby 812". Not really seeing what would be the point of that. The v8 sportscar segment is already taken up with the F8, SF90 and later on the V6 LB that will replace the F8.

    No, of course: I'm sorry.

    Ferrari doesn't want to compete with any 911. The Portofino will remain the entry level, and its cost is almost twice the 911 base price.

    the new three liter V6 is close to the 250 hp/liter range, so it will have more than 600 HP, the Portofino actual power.
    V8 is for the flagship, the SF90, and this is official from Ferrari. The 2023 F8 replacement will have a V6 hybrid.

    Yes, of course. But next year the Lusso won't be produced anymore. If you will want a true four seater, you will have to wait for the SUV, 2022.

    Interesting question.

    Normally, cabrio is more expensive than a coupe.

    But this car is not going to be called portofino. Is a third car v8.

    Just seen the black test car pass directly in front of me. There was also a Portofino a few cars ahead of it. Test car was shorter than PF and definitely sounded more V6 than V8. Rear lights seemed to be horizontal LED rather than PF’s round ones.

    And what you said about it’s shape is correct. The interior is probably also one of the main changes comparing the Portofino.
