As time goes on......I am becoming more of a fan of the coupe. I have a cabriolet and enjoy the rag top element but there is something classical about the hard top. Love the pictures guys! its the highlight of my day.
Ok So how do you know? Also please tell me what the color name is. So elegant....I keep going back to your pictures to day dream.
Hard choice which one to drive yesterday, both 2+2 both V8 and both almost handcrafted..........the Bentley won this time, sorry! Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's a Bentley T2 which almost looks like the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II. I believe from a tech point of view it is a exactly the same a Rolls-Royce, but I think Milko can tell you more on that
Correct, on the engine says even a Rolls Royce discription, it was pure badge engineering and nothing sporty about the whole car. Bentley were driven at that time by their owners, lots of Silver Shadow owners had a chauffeur. This example has got a Harvey and Baily suspension upgrade for sporty ride and cornering because of the more stiffer dampers and springs. Well it still feels like cornering with the Titanic but is lots of fun to drive. It is very rare because only 581 were being build and almost 9.500 of the Rolls version.
Bentley... DDIY (Daily-Drive-It for-Yourself) - need pop-top squeeze mustard, so you have one hand free to steer the car Image Unavailable, Please Login Rolls-Royce... DDIY (Dudley-Drives-It for-You) - can have the glass jar mustard, as you have both hands free Image Unavailable, Please Login "Cornering with the Titanic" ... That's awesome! Wow... that's quite a difference in production. Have you ever seen another example other than your Bentley? Have you ever taken it to a car show? I think it would be pretty neat to go to a show and see how long it takes people to notice the difference, and how many double takes it gets.
Well! at least you have more spar parts available then the Mondial (educated guess) Looking forward to see it once!
