Some folk have put/changed the black bumpers,front and rear on C4's with colour coded ones. For mine they work but only when paired with Borrani wire wheels. and work better with colours other than red. Bill's was red,Phil C had a silver one that looked terrific.I have also seen a(wait for it) black one. They work for me due to the window surrounds being stainless steel and the car having the traditional Cokebottle design in comparison to my angular 365 2+2 where it wouldn't work at all. Purely personal preference and totally reversable.
The black bumper frames the front end, also side profile where it tapers. Colour coded just truncates it making it look shorter. Filippo Sapino at Pininfarina knew what he was doing

Going well thanks mate. I’m really surprised with the technology and techniques today with regards to surgery. Almost 6 hours on the operating table, and 7 - 10 days later, I’m driving, walking etc. and almost pain free. It’s been life changing for me too mate. Bummer… it would have been nice to catch up. I’ll be there all day Saturday with the club display. I can’t wait to see the Veyron…. I’ve only ever seen one in the flesh and that was back in 2010.
