They used to offer a lifetime subscription.

You'd have to call SiriusXM. Just make sure you have the head unit serial number handy- there should be a screen which displays it.

I have a lifetime subscription. Bought it when it was first offered. It was about a 250 dollar upgrade. You can transfer the sub to a new head unit. They charge 75 or 80 bucks to do it. You can do the transfer on their website or by calling. If you have Sirius, Make sure you transfer to a Sirius head unit. The XM units will have slightly different programs. For example, Howard Stern is not available on the SiriusXM head unit. Obviously if it’s built in to the car, then you get what you get. Some systems get both, I believe.

The “lifetime” subscription must be manufacturer and/or time dependent. My RR Dawn came with it but it’s not active anymore so I had to re-up. A friend with a Bentley had the same thing happen with his 2012 GTC he bought new. I wouldn’t bring it to Sirius’ attention just in case!

No clue there's such a lifetime subscription. Make sure to transfer it to another head unit if the car is to be sold.
