Definitely a V8. Can’t really tell but sounds a little better than the F8... not much though.

Why? It's a raised Lusso, improved and better looking! And won't be an offroad car, only taller than usual.

Thanks! Now there is the English edition too... ;)

I'm very curious to see the Portofino coupe and learn its name: I still bet on Dino. Maybe Dino 398, who knows.

    Ciao

Great info and pics gents, thanks for sharing.

Can anyone confirm if the F169 "coupe" will be a 2-seater or a 2+2?

The curvy fastback rear as a touch of 250 SWB about it. Ferrari did mention “the return of the elegant GT” in a press release this year. My guess is this will be retro inspired sports GT that you can take to the track or destroy a mountain road. It may we’ll carry the SWB moniker too as it does look more compact than the Portofino? Exciting!

Ferrari said the elegant GT would be v12 and that's the new 812 , no?

If it were this car, fine too.

I think they will save the Dino name for a V6 Alberto.
Marcel said it will be a V8, so that's what it will be for the moment.

13th November is my date with F169 aka ““Portofino coupe””.
The event will be in a very special place.

Hopefully the Coupe version won't be that claustrophobic like the cabrio, and I assume it'll have some mm more space for the rear passengers.

The consensus of opinions seem to agree that -
    1) New body, unique to the car.
    2) V-8 engine, likely same as Portofino.
    3) November reveal, in Italy.

    Still a bit fuzzy -
    1) Wither a 2 + 2 or just a pure 2 seater.

If the car stays 2+2, I cannot see how it could have more room, as the car is reportedly physically smaller than the Porto. The Porto/Cali was never meant to be a true 4 seater, and I doubt this will be different. Claustrophobic? That's a new one when describing the Porto. Is yours all black or dark grey inside? I find it quite airy and friendly.
If you need 4 real seats you need a Lusso. It also comes with the added bonus of a V12.

The 812 is in the Sportscar line. Gt lineup is Lusso, Lusso T and Porto. Sportsline is F8 and 812.

My prediction is it'll be a strict 2 seater with slightly more HP than the Portofino to help differentiate

At the top left of the sketch is a Portofino coupe. Ok, this will definitely be the coupe cabrio version with no roof sections, but look at that line!
A hint of kamm tail would be interesting..
And what if they had drawn from the Monza for the lights?! But it must be said that the starting point is still the Portofino body, so I don't think they have distorted the original design much. Tail light seem very horizontal but they could follow the unsuccessful shape of the SF90 headlights...

Someone tell the reveal will be in Rome.. About the name, will we have an other iconic name, like Portofino? Colosseo? Fontana di Trevi? Ara Pacis? Pantheon? Circo Massimo? Ahahah

I could understand this model if it showcased the new V6, or was a bigger more spacious (for rear seats) Portofino coupe.

I don't own a Portofino; need to win the lottery to get one. :D

When I say claustrophobic I mean for the rear passengers, obviously the people seating at the front have great visibility.

And I'm 5' 3'' (1.60 cm), never had issues seating at the back in such cars, including the Peugeot 206 Cabrio and Lexus SC430. When the top is down it's great, things however change when the top is up.

If my children can sit, for me it is enough.

When they are adults they should buy another car to drive.

Have you sat in the back of a Cali or Porto? My wife is the same height as you, and about 47 kg, and she can't fit there properly. Could she sit there in a pinch? I guess. Would she be in a great mood upon arrival? Nope and her hair would be a mess.

I've sat once on a Cali 30 back in 2010 but without someone sitting at the front, it was OK for me, some mm free space for my knees. Obviously if someone's taller either on the driver or on the passenger side, feels like Doug DeMuro trying to fit inside a 2+2 passenger car.

As for your wife's hair, here's a tip: Silk head scarf
