    Hi

I am choosing tires for my new wheels 9"/20" front & 12"/20" rear and are looking at Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 245/30ZR20 (front) & 325/30ZR20 (rear). If my calculation is correct the diameter is 15 mm more for front and 21 mm for rear.

Does anyone have experience of this tires or tire sizes for a F430? Other thoughts?

I think you are just carrying extra weight. You don’t need a rear that wide

    Thanks

245-30-20 front and 325-25-20 rear are the most common 9/12x20" sizes for F430.

Many 12x20" forged wheels are lighter or equal to the OEM F430 10x19 weight..

I have 245/30, 325/25 Michelin PS4s. I like them a lot. Grip, ride comfort has been great so far. A 30 series for the rear at that width might be on the tall side. Just an FYI.

I bought mine with 245/35r19 front and 325/30r19 rear and seems to work ok.... looks cool but I feel Im wasting a lot of HP just driving such big steam rollers. My Murci has 335 rears with 100 more hp and a lot more torque. Tempted to find some stock wheels. Its also lowered a lot so going to be raising it up

Thanks for all the information! I will choose 245/30ZR20 & 325/25ZR20. I am aware that this changes of the wheel effects weight and I will post again when I have more information.

I do not think stock wheels will make the car lower, in the front it is actually a small increase in diameter with the 245/35r19 compared to OEM

Yeah, I need to raise the springs on the perch.. previous owner put scud springs on and wound the perch way down.
