In 1947 Ferrari clinched its first ever victory at the Caracalla circuit near Roma.
(but in my opinion a Ferrari Caracalla doesn't sound good...)

The problem is that the MM names is "BIG" name to put on a Ferrari. It needs to be something special to carry that badge. I can't see them sticking that badge on a non-VS car, especially if it's not a V12. Would be a name much better suited for the 812VS.

Could the new coupe be a VS version .. i think it would be an excellent place to put the F8 engine in a high performance coupe done in the tradition of the old 330GTC speciale from around 1967 which were very nice 2 seat coupes ....

What!? Have you driven one? It's an all out sportscar. It's also within Ferraris lineup of sportscars.

    812 pure GT. That's funny:)

Interesting concept. How do you figure? You think they will use the GTC name considering it's on the Lusso? I like to hear your thoughts behind your idea.

I can't find the meaning of 600. Both 6.0 liters and 600x8 = 4.8 liters seems too large for the actual displacement

I have the V12 Lusso- light years better than my FF- it’s a fantastic, practical car and easy around town - but it’s a big car, ideal for the open road. I hope the new Roma?:) is an elegant two seater, (a Targa type sun roof would be brilliant) with a hatchback access to a practical baggage area (2+2 is useless) . V8 600+HP....to be used daily.....any chance

It is an amazing day-to-day proper family car of 4 not sure why people don’t like it... guess it has to do with a pure Ferrari being 2 seater

Maybe a more accurate representation would be more GT less sporty compared to its predecessors?

Nope. The 812 is probably the most sporty front engined V12 Ferrari has made in decades, only surpassed by the TdF. The fact that it is also able to lap Fiorano as fast as a Pista when fitted with the TdF rubber says something about its abilities.
The F12 one drives with a bit of a somewhat serious face as a Gentleman's Jekyll/Hyde super GT. Thw 812SF is a playful and rambunctious hooligan that makes you laugh and smile till your face ache while it just urges you to push harder.

    Sorry 'bout the detour gents.

    Now back on topic:)
