    Hi guys has any one had any experience with this problem.The car had a oil change the oil was checked as per the manual about 300kmh later the car started running rough and the engine control system could light come on.The oil has been drained the spark plugs changed the inlet manifold cleaned air flow meters cleaned and air filters replaced one coil pack left front cylinder one oxygen sensor on left exhaust front.The car went fine for 40 minutes then the foult light come on....Any help would be great

    A dealer overfilled the oil on my 599. Oil came out the side vents. A mess. Don’t fill above the half quart low mark on dipstick.

    You cannot clean hot film air mass meters, only the earlier hot wire air mass meters can be cleaned. Once your 599 air mass meters are contaminated with oil, they are junk and must be replaced.
    What fault codes are stored? If related to mixture, then that is another indication that the air mass meters are defective.
