That hurt to watch
No one was hurt, which is the main thing. The car sustained mainly suspension and associated components, front and rear bar, and some other damage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have seen a lot of Ferrari’s damaged at Lakeside over the years. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Like the time John Tuelan gave me some "helpful" advise re the northern loop ...... that was a scary lose
Man that’s gotta make you just about cry, I would be devastated if that happened to my car I’m guessing you have no insurance cover on track? Can someone enlighten me!!
Correct. No insurance. He's going to repair it, and Marc is helping him out with parts. It's not going to be as painful as it may seem. (but still painful)
You used to be able to buy competition insurance for Targa,I think it cost about $5K for the 5/6 days.....dunno about track insurance though.

That interests me much more than plug in electric cars. Shurely hydrogen is a better idea in the end?

F355 Modificata. Or, hot-rod... https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-driven/ferrari-f355-modificata---driven/41205
Nice car but no challenge .... that's been hot-rodded And it misses out on the main drawcard of the challenges ..... the F40LM brakes
It does have slightly bigger brakes, but probably not that big, yes. Interesting that they didn’t mess with the engine management system....
