Higher mileage at 98k so this is a drivers car, not concours level but looks great. Here are the details. I'm sure many know the specs on the 348 but I'll go ahead and list some of them along with the condition of the car. Removable targa roof (ts) mid engine 3.4L V-8 (flat plane crank - dry sump). Makes 300 HP and rated top speed is 171. 5 Speed manual. AC (blows cold) and was recently serviced when engine out service performed less than 2 years ago and all gauges work as well as power windows. I had Ferrari of Atlanta perform the 30k mile engine out service less than 2 years ago. I've put just over 3k miles since then. At the same time a small leak in the filler tube to the gas tank was discovered so I had them replace the gas tank rather than try and repair it. An oil leak in the bottom of the block casting about 1/8" in size was corrected during the engine out. Ferrari noted on the service notes that it was a casting flaw which as I said they corrected it with a weld from the inside. So total spent at the last service was $21k and it is running fantastic. Ferrari of Atlanta has performed any repairs and service for over the last 17 years other than the most recent oil change which I just did myself. I have a book of service records going back to the mid 90's. I purchased the car almost 3 years ago from a gentleman that had owned it for 14 years. The exhaust was converted to a single can. Current mileage is 98K Twin Clutch plate upgraded to single clutch plate and differential rebuilt at 82k miles No tears in dash or seats which have been replaced with Sparco's. I do not have the original seats. Front and rear brake pads recently replaced BF Goodrich G Force Sport tires less than 3 years old and around 3k miles Sparco seats in great shape - very comfortable. Upgraded starter since I've owned it to lighter design Recently replaced RR rear wheel bearings and CV Boots on both sides The car has always been garaged (at least the last 17 years). I would not hesitate to take it on long road trips. the paint shines and the car looks awesome. Even though it has some road chips I did have a Ceramic Pro paint correction done about 18 months ago to remove any swirls in the paint. The engine bay is immaculate as well. Clean and Clear title. Vin # ZFFFG36A4L0086653 and assembly number 3510. You can see the car in a video (start at 3:15 to see the car). Also included is the factory tool kit as well as the manual. PM me and I'll give you more details, email at [email protected] or call me at 912-577-7303. I have many more photos as well. I am located in St Simons Island, GA which is about an hour north of Jacksonville, FL and an hour south of Savannah, GA. Right off I-95. Both Jacksonville and Savannah have International airports. Off to see the Wizard of KS. FWIW - Mine own eyes have beheld one of the actual pairs of Ruby Slippers in a helluva collection of memorabilia, so it's nice to see another type of collector do his thing, too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J727A using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I was in St Simons over 4th of July and saw this car cruising around. I knew it before it was famous!
Quite excited to see this one on YT. I'm a regular Hoovie's Garage fan, been watching since the LeBaron got buried...
Tyler, let me know if you need somebody to drive it home to the Midwest. It's snowing in Omaha tonight. I wouldn't mind going south for a bit.
It's really how this site should work, like the FCA Ads in the past.. Anyone having missed this car Calder1 on has a 17K miles example...... PLay on thru, please......
Price is a relative thing Calder 1 has a fair price in his.....IMO But yes this was a "WHAT??" kind of day, here..... Carry on......
In an obtuse way. a high mileage example kind of "validates the design " and his list of repairs sounds totally real. I wager this car has a great life..
Certainly priced to sell. Unlike the 22 examples on eBay right now (most are priced to sit). https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.Xferrari+348.TRS0&_nkw=ferrari+348
