Not sure if everybody has seen this. Even has wiring diagrams.
Interesting. That diagram may prove helpful if we can piece it together and improve the legilibity, but there's piece in the middle missing. Anyway, at first glance, it matches relatively well with the 550 diagram I'm working on. A good find! Give me a couple of weeks to make it more user-friendly
Ian- I have three or four versions. Let me see if one is more complete. No, all the same. Just stashed in different files.
Here's my first take on a slightly more user-friendly wiring diagram (suitable for iPad, etc) for the 456. Ferrari 456 DIAVIA (HVAC) Wiring Diagram It will take a little longer to adapt it to the 550. There are more wire colour differences than I first thought.
The great thing about Ian's wiring diagram is you can save them to a thumb drive then take it to a FedEx Office or other printing service and have them printed on a paper as big as you want. When I did my fuse panel re-wire/hard wire I re-sized them to represent the actual fuse panel shape then had them printed on paper 2 feet wide. It really helped trace circuits. To do this save the diagram on your computer, open it with MS Paint, then you can resize/reshape to anything you want. I was able to re-wire the panel using Quavion's diagram only, not using the original wafers as a guide. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have to see if I can find any other goodies. I have one on fixing the 456 window from Ferrari, too, but no wiring diagram.
And here is the other "half" of the F456 DIAVIA wiring diagram... Ferrari_456_Engine_Service_&_HVAC Wiring Diagram Start at plug 10E (where the other diagram left off). 10E is in the lower left corner of the diagram. This is my first major attempt at stringing together the somewhat user-unfriendly pinouts in the WSM wiring diagrams. Thanks to Guido, I now have a relay panel to work with. I was really surprised at how complex the diagram is. I started adapting a 550 HVAC/Engine wiring diagram, but there are so many differences, it took me a solid week of line erasing and drawing. The 456 seems to have twice as many plugs and splices. Cheers.
