    These two things were in the engine luggage area of my 328. Do they have anything to do with the car? Search yields no clues. Thanks.

    Never seen anything like it, but i have a 308. Possibly go under the spare tyre ?

    It’s a rare early air bag...didn’t work well...like just about everything on our cars. PO likely removed it and left in the trunk.

    Are you serious? Probably a "fancy pillow" on the steering wheel would, at least look nicer, but a piece of foam? that's crappy, very crappy.

    I've never come across anything like that on the 308. I think it is from something else.

    Is the back side Velcro or felt? Looks like it could be a deformed polishing pad

    No, just two of these foam disks, same on either side. They're about the diameter of wheel, so I thought they might have been some part of the packing, protection (for the spare perhaps?) that would have been in a newly delivered car. But I doubt it, too.

    Previous owner didn't want the spare to scratch the paint in the well. Placed under the spare before it was locked down.
