Glad to see they made it! Merry Christmas! Now note Ferrari bolt has a cone shaped mating surface to the mag wheel insert. Those were for BBS wheels. But I figured "some machining" required, was still able to let you mount the rims.
Hello, BigTex! Yes, I did notice that different mating surface you mentioned; no biggy, I'll take care of that ;-) Car has its 4 wheels on! Just in time to still consider this one of the achievements of 2017! Yaaaay! 2018: Let's piece together that front end puzzle!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello, guys!! Well, my life's been a rollercoaster lately, and the project's been pushed to the corner for a while. Nonetheless, I am making some progress now. Currently reconstructing the rear space-frame that has been cut-off in order to get it back on its wheels. I'm planing to move to a new house mid-november, and I refuse to transport her on dollies again. I'll keep posting pictures of the progress as I move forward. Hi there! Nope, I started this on 2010... is there another crazy person doing something like this from 2006 til today? I'd love to meet him!!!
Update from today: everything is tack-welded together. Hopefully I'll be done with the final MIG welding by the weekend. I'll post updates as soon as I have them Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey man, they took one of my garages away (three was TOO many) and unloading it, I have TWO extra hoods. I can't afford to donate it, but want you to have one, red or black. Interested? Congrats on the wheels hanging! I hoped that would help......
Daniel I have an aftermarket plexiglass rear window that was originally in my 308 project car when I Purchased it. Removed it and put the factory glass in its place. Also have the rear window seal. Both pieces are a little worn but been sitting in a box in my shop for over four years. You’re welcome to them if they will help you out? Also have the horsey emblem that bolts to the front grill.( Will need refinished)
Hello, BigTex! That is VERY generous of you, my friend! Sadly, I already have a hood, otherwise, I'd be all over that red one Thanks a lot for the constant support!
Test-fitting the front panels... there are like 5 dead cars on that nose alone! Talk about a "Franken-rrari", huh? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well... after countless hours of research, CAD drawing, planning... and more than 20 hours of measuring, cutting, tacking and welding, thanks to the help of my very good friend and master welder Juan, chassis 37313 finally has her rear subframe completed. I believe it turned out beautiful... but I'm biased. What do you guys think? Daniel, what are the legal obstacles to importing car parts into paraguay ? Brasil and Argentina are absurd about this.... Guido

This picture is really amazing for me... I bought 37313 just months after she was born... seeing her grow into the beautiful girl she is, and watching the car take shape, is really very emotional. She loves the car and is always very supportive of her crazy gearhead dad. Image Unavailable, Please Login
