I can't imagine they would replace Albon with the Hulk. Not a fan of Albon but he did a pretty decent job since he got the seat. And I wouldn't say that about the Hulk.
Red bull are in a great position now. Albon is doing well, Max is Max, and Gasly is getting a lot out of his new car now even. I wouldn’t change a thing in terms of drivers...well, maybe Danii.
...I always feel guilty when I'm a bit harsh but...10 years of F1, 177 entries and 175 starts and not one podium.... Bad luck might have something to do with it, not being where you should at the right time, etc...but come on: not one podium... Rgds
When I think Hulkenberg was touted by some on this forum to join Ferrari ! His biggest career success was outside F1 when he won Le Mans with a one-off drive thanks to Porsche.
Giovinazzi stays at Alfa Romeo . . . https://www.espn.co.uk/f1/story/_/id/28005657/antonio-giovinazzi-stay-alfa-romeo-2020
I can't see Haas lasting another 6 years. I think Gene Hass love affair with F1 is over. He finds it riddled with politics, and rather hard work.
Probably. The budget cap and more standardisation coming for 2021 must be right up his street (if they are accepted!).
Albon stays at Red Bull for 2020 . . . . https://www.espn.co.uk/f1/story/_/id/28063738/alexander-albon-remain-max-verstappen-red-bull-teammate-2020
Albon staying at RB is the right decision. Well done to him for proving many of us (including me) wrong. He was the lowest rated rookie this season and wasn't expected to do well. He did great and deserves his shot next year. So - the 2020 grid is pretty much done with the exception of Kubica's replacement at Williams. The shame is that there are no rookies. That is a travesty especially when you look at the number of wasted seats on the grid. Both Haas drivers should be replaced. Alfa has two poor drivers. Renault giving Ocon a seat is a joke. Stroll being allowed to stay in the sport is an embarrassment. That's a least 6 wasted spots that could go to new talent. And why has Russel been allowed to waste another year in Williams when he is so much better than that? Oh well... I guess it has always been that way in F1.
'Used to be "Monday Morning Quarterbacks"..... 'Hasn't changed much. Only difference is now it's "Keyboard Quarterbacks". I've always wondered why these experts aren't in the business, cleaning up, showing the world how things should be done. Oh, but wait. There would soon be a winner and the rest losers and more new "Keyboard Quaterbacks" (or whatever at the time) criticising and advising perfection; again not stepping up to the plate (I've wondered why also, they have the answers, 'should be scooped up by Ferrari in a heartbeat), but oh so willing to tell how things "should be". Entertainment at it's best.
