There are a lot more Scuds than 16M. Apples and Oranges IMO.

Hell it seems there are a lot more Apertas than 16Ms if you look at Autotrader.

The 16M had a very fast run up in price about 5 years ago from $230-240 to $330-$350, I know because made the mistake of not pulling the trigger in time. It’s an interesting car because value wise at over $300k it’s playing with some serious competition at a time when they’re has never been more choices in this area. Because of the rawness level of the car(relatively speaking) the pool for buyers is also very small, the Scud is in the same boat just more of them produced an not officially a limited edition. My guess is that the car will eventually settle back to close to the $220-$240k range.

I guess the definition of “close” is relative. But a gap of $40k is hardly insignificant by my own definition...

And oh, the CNC example is a black specimen which historically sells for as much as $15-20k less than a red specimen. Blacks, silvers and yellows have always historically sold for less than reds or whites. The market defined this, it’s not a subjective personal preference.

    In short, still not $200k.

Yes CNC has the blk 16M with 9k miles....$239k, bet they would take $225k. I bought mine 7 years ago from them with similar miles and price. Prices have cycled down.
I also see Speciale prices falling, as well as GTO’s, TDF’s etc ....pretty much whole market

    Sent from my 16M
