Does anyone make Testarossa stainless headers? Something to the liking of the fabspeed for the 355.
I love their headers but they don't make anything like that for the TR. It would be awesome to open the rear compartment and see those polished pipes.

I have also seen the primary cat delete pipes. Who is a good vendor for those? I have the secondary deletes. Thanks so much!

I'm going to venture to guess that no one makes the headers. I know I have seen primary cat deletes before.

What are you going to see? A properly designed system will have the tubes ending under the engine.

We currently do not offer manifolds for the Testarossa.
We only offer Sport Cats, Test Pipe, Pre-Cat, and exhausts for both catted and non catted Testarossa's.

why not go to a good machine bending shop and let produce a set?
when they have the example it should be not a big problem

If someone made a tuned set meaning all equal length tubes, I imagine you would see them. Ever seen fab speeds
on a 355? Pretty outrageous formula one looking. Anyway, Thanks all.

So you don't have any cats at all. 4 total from the factory and you have none?

The Ferrari system is equal length tube headers and it is all under the motor.

Easier to see when the exhaust ports aren't facing the ground.

I get it, but they are kinda ugly under those covers but I know the covers serve a purpose. Tuned headers would not only look much better it would also release
    a few ponies.

I have cat deletes on the secondaries and capristo exhaust and it sounds very good but thinking about replacing the primary's with test pipes as well.
    Who makes those?

Are u talking precats? If so tubi makes pipes.
For test pipes, aka cat replacement u have options: capristo, ansa make some too.

I'm talking about replacing the precats with test pipes. Capristo does no make any. Don't know why they call them pre cats.
They have the catalyst core in them so they are in fact a cat convertor, just a small one which spells restriction.

    sorry please for my question:
what is the difference between headers and exhaust manifolds?
I think it is the same?

There is a detailed headers vs manifold explanation but in most cases it's just different terminology for the same part.

+1 -- they have come to be interchangeable terms, but the history is that the difference was related to their different construction: Tubular headers vs cast exhaust manifolds. Ferrari calls their tubular headers "exhaust manifolds" in their documentation, and that isn't a sin -- but calling a cast exhaust manifold a "header" would be a bit wrong IMO. I.e., an exhaust manifold can be made from tubes or a casting, but a header really can't be a casting (unless very special/unusual).

I think its important to realize the major restriction in the TR exhaust is the pre-cats and cats, not the headers (aka exhaust manifolds). Furthermore, as Rifledriver points out, they are already equal length. Not only that but from memory, OEM manifolds are also double walled for good heat retention properties (aka keeping the heat in the pipes and keeping engine bay temps down).

Getting a proper pre-cat delete, hyperflow setup will go a long way.

I am running a Tubi pre-cat delete, OEM cat, Tubi exhaust on my 512TR and love it. I may go to a hyperflow in the future.
