Highly doubt V12 given emission laws, especially since this will be the high volume product. Will probably have V6 and V8 hybrid powertrains. Also, I think we will never see the dual tranny again in a Ferrari. Hybrid based four wheel drive as used in SF90S is the way forward. I do agree on it having a DCT
I am surprised at how derivative and bad all the renders posted on this thread are. Name one distinct model under Manzoni where you could take a current model and change it in Paint to get a new one. It will be a completely new design but at the same time it will be a SUV so there will be natural limitations to what the general shape will be. At least it will be based on Ferraris own distinct platform unlike the Urus where you can tell its an Audi with an Italian suit the moment you see it.

As I had speculated above, sounds like SF90 tech is going to be used and the dual tranny AWD system is going to get canned. Interesting to see that the architecture can accommodate V12 Engines. Probably going to use the platform for the next Lusso, where imho V12 makes much more sense than in the SUV.
so we don't know it will be V6 or V8 or V12 or any of this but hybrid, this statement is about uniwersal platform for diffrent cars ...
On last years investors day it was presented as having both V6 and V8 no mention of V12 . But these things change.
The entire FUV concept was rebooted. At first, it was going to be like a raised Lusso with AWD and hidden suicide doors, but only a V8 available. Now it's all that but with the possibilities of a hybrid turbo V6, a turbo V8, and possibly a NA V12. I'm hoping revised test mules start appearing end of next year.
I wouldn't want the V12, actually, but the last thing I read that had any connection to Ferrari mentioned the possibility of a V12. I'd prefer an AWD turbo V8, but I'm sure Ferrari realized some customers wouldn't buy it without a V12. With the modular platform that's no problem, so why not? If the FF and Lusso can have a V12, so can the FUV, and no Lusso anymore when the FUV hits.
sorry, I mean it's available to buy I think that there is big pressure to kill V12 and that can be reason to not put V12 to SUV
Not true! I enjoy his renderings and designs, even if they are nothing like what I think the FUV will end up looking like.
I can assure you that I'm not the only one curious about how the Purosangue will look like. The renders and sketches of the Ferrari SUV that I've been posting here are made by different artists and they reflect only their visions of the future car and not mine. Despite having started this thread in 2017 and driving an SUV, I would never own a Purosangue because for me the true Ferraris have always been only the ones with two seats.
